Prevention advice in the event of poor air quality due to vegetation fires

Description

During periods of poor air quality linked to vegetation fires, fine particles can affect people's health, specifically those with respiratory or cardiac problems, the elderly (aged 65 and over), babies, and young children (aged 4 and under), and pregnant women.

This leaflet contains prevention advice for:

  • educational childcare services
  • day and summer camps
  • schools
  • group sports activities such as matches and training sessions
  • RPAs, CHSLDs and other living environments for the elderly

Its aim is to provide information on what to do and how to behave in the event of poor air quality due to vegetation fires.
