Adopted persons often have questions about their origins. This guide is intended to inform them of the steps to follow in this process. In Quebec, the Centres intégrés de santé et de services sociaux (CIUSSS) and the Centres de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) are responsible for conserving all national adoption files and responding to requests in regards to the research of their origins.
