The document « What is breast density? » describes the categories of breast density according to the BI-RADS system and their percentage found among participants of the Québec Breast Cancer Screening Program (PQDCS). The document is intended as a web tool for women to learn more about what breast density represents and the importance of this measurement within the framework of the PQDCS.
