This report paints a healthcare picture of Québec society and provides keys to enjoying better health by describing the most pressing, yet avoidable problems we face and explaining how we can do more to prevent them.
The health status of the Québec population hyas greatly improved over the last decades. However, several problems continue to cause devastation. Many of these problems are preventable since they are associated with common factors that can be acted on. Nevertheless, not all means of action can be found in the health and social services systems. Indeed, even a cursory examination reminds us of a too often forgotten truth, that is, the enhancement of health is a goal that all of us can and must help to attain.
