Filing a report with the DYP is already protecting a child - When and how to file a report?
Guide
Description
Filing a Report with the DYP Is Already Protecting a Child: When and How to File a Report? was written for the general public, in particular, anyone working with children. Designed to increase awareness and provide information, this guide provides answers to the questions most frequently asked to help individuals make an informed decision about filing a report with the Director of Youth Protection (DYP). Indeed, it describes situations that call for DYP intervention and gives the related signs as well as details about when reporting is mandatory. The guide also provides contact information for all of Québec's youth centres and a report fact sheet.
