Do you need Birth control? Talk to a nurse!
Pamphlets
Description
The leaflet Do you need birth control? Talk to a nurse! aims at informing women and girls that they can turn to a nurse for hormonal contraception. Hormonal contraception methods include the pill, patches, vaginal rings, and injections.
This new approach to having nurses provide hormonal contraceptives is available in institutions and clinics where physicians have signed a collective prescription for hormonal contraceptives. Examples of such locations are schools, health and social services centers, family-planning clinics, medical clinics, family-medicine groups (FMGs), hospitals, and youth centers. To find out where they can meet with a nurse to start hormonal contraception, women and girls can contact their health and social services center or call Info-Santé at 8-1-1.
